    RacerX's 2nd gig Jan 7!

    Hey! My first gig thread was a lot of fun :ROTF: http://www.jcfonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=60868

    We're doing a 2nd gig on Sunday...and we have more than 2 bandmembers now! We even have a band name (MCR).

    Guitars: Ron
    Drums: cousin Kevin
    Keys & vox: John C.
    Bass: (was HoWheels) temporarily: Chris

    This is another volunteer gig for a marathon, this time it's the Orange County Marathon http://ocmarathon.com/ Newport Beach to Irvine, CA

    We will be playing at mile 21 which is on Irvine Blvd close to the intersection with "N" St. on the north side of the former El Toro Marine Base (now the Great Park) - Irvine, California - this Sunday from probably 9 am to 12 noon or so. Any OC or SoCal JCFers gonna show up and toss tomatoes? We're gonna be playing metalized versions of classic rock tunes...most of the former setlist + a couple new tunes. I promise I won't sing heh heh.

    Anybody heard from HoWheels? He was on fire to do "Epic" by Faith No More but I haven't heard from him since Dec. 22.
