Well ym brother picked called (whos a huge cowboys fan) and I answered it with "OH JEEZ HE'S CRYING" Anyway, I've decided not to write my book, so here it is:
I predict that Jerry Jones, aroogant ego-maniac he is, will be asked why didnt go far after getting T.O., and sit down and think about things, and his ego will force him to deciding it was one of 2 things: The coach or Owens. And one has to go. And he is not gonna look like a fool and fire Owens. So guess who gets the boot? Not saying it will happen, but I think it will coem down to that eventually.
As for Romo, part of me feels bad for him, and part of me thinks durign the last 2-3 games of the season he started getting arrogant and making more mistakes, and dropping that ball means I wouldn't be shocked if he got traded for a draft pick or another QB.
I watched the game from start to finish (thats unusual for me). The last 2 minutes were a gas to watch. The Cowboys had 4 shots to win it. The almost first down on the 1; a completed FG or if Romo had either made a first down or scored. It was a fake fieldgoal attempt call all the way. The Seahawks looked awful. Except for a couple of pretty passes by Hasselbeck.
When I saw the botched field goal I thought it was a fake play gone horribly wrong until the replay showed him drop the ball. I didn't matter but it was doubly humiliating to lose the ball. That whole sequence was the stuff of nightmares. Imagine being him, dropping the ball. "Here's the snap. Got it, now just put it down...OH HOLY SHIT! Pick it up and run for your life! I'm gonna make it! I'm gonna ... ooooof." Stomped on by 4 big guys just short of 1st or the goal and you lose the ball in front of a zillion screaming people. Now you have to get up and go back to the sideline under the withering contemptous gaze of Parcells and all your teammates that you let down.
Gotta hand it to the kicker, that lil bastard jumped in there and threw a block or two. most kickers would have just stepped back and said WTF??!!??
I know I was screaming WTF??!???!!
Romo knew he blew it, that was a broken man walking away from that game. Did you see him staring at his big toe one way off the fielld? Some guy tried to console him and he didn't even try to look up.
When you take a shower in space, you have to press the water onto your body to clean yourself, and then you gotta vacuum it off. - Ace Frehley
The last 2 minutes looked like a bad highschool game. If I were Jones, I'd ground the whole team and put a piece of black friction tape across those stars on their helmets. Old Madden and that other guy were talking about whether Parcell would be back next year. Something about the long grind and such. I would go someplace and hide. Maybe he'll pull a Chappell and wander off for awhile.
