Was she the love of your life? What she did will take the wind right of your sails . My love died 10 years into our marriage. I will never get over that. She was 38. That's all there was and will ever be.

With all due respect to Tommy I met my wife-to-be on a blind date. She came after me. We dated and shacked up together and all that. We played tennis and just had a good time. Well, while we were living together she complained about her vision going wacky. Well, it turned out to be MS. When she told me, I just drove up to a hill and cried. Sucked it up and went back home. We got married because she was the "One". The good thing is we had a son. The bad thing is she spent 10 years dying. I can not and will not ever go through what happened to me again. I lived 50 years of marriage in 10, and we didn't even have a chance to enjoy it. And, this is our boy.

I agree with Shawn. I have been married to my wife for almost 16 years. We have never fought or yelled at each other. We have had arguments and disagreements, but we talk them out. I love her, she loves me and we have a beautiful family together. I could not imagine being without her.

But the right one is quite often mistaken, although yours was an absolute tragedy, you were lucky to me meet the right one. And that is a cool thing that nobody can take away from you ever.
