Ugliest guitar in history?

The Fender Performer was one ugly guitar too for that matter, mainly due to the headstock. I think some early Rickenbackers are ugly too. Same goes the new Raw Power LP's. Schecter Synsters are ugly too. So are Peavey V-Type NTB, the BC Rich Virgn and Eagle, and the Fender Toronado. I think thats it :P

As for the Tele I like it, and depending on the color, the Firebird...

I akways liked Deans in general and most of the guitars mentioned here..except that axxion and a few more dogs.

I gotta go with that big 'ol red 60's Airline "map" guitar..sorry no pics..but it's very ugly!!!

As for the infamous Stabbed Poo Jackson. Some years ago this guy on Ebay had a Hondo "Jackson-style" neck on a body that was "hand carved by a respected local artist" and a Jackson covered pickup (hence the guy thought it was a Jackson).

The body "style" was some sort of "Sword In The Stone" motif, but it was brown. Not just any old brown, mind you, but a nice dark chocolatey turd brown.

Various comments about it were bandied about here on the Forum, and it was dubbed the Stabbed Poo because it looked like someone stuck a knife in a turd.

Though the "leftover brisket" comment came mighty close

I know someone here has a pic of it. I thought I did, but it may have been on one of the hard drives that dies on me a couple of years ago.

I still search my drives for it now and then, hoping to find it, but with 1.3TB to search through manually, I don't get very far

There was one in the mid 80's that actually had a "handle" from the body to the headstock. Sort of a squared off warrior shape if I remember correctly. BTW, you have to play a Collen archtop to fully appreciate the shape - SEXY BABY!!
