how does it cost to ship a guitar to canada, the slowest, cheapest way. UPS i guess

Proabably usps try ups fedex and usps web pages you can get a cost on line
you need to know dimesions and weight and destination and source zip codes and cities -

Don't use the fucking web guides. Measure the box both length and girth. Get the total inches and go to USPS site and get a number. That's why I never quote a shipping price until I know where it is going.
And then realize that any guitar in a box with get, at least, one oversize and maybe a double-dose.

USPS is the way to ship outta the country. UPS will cost approximately one arm and one leg., rough estimate but close.
