To answer your question... nope haven't tried any of that Endust or Pledge stuff, honestly I didn't know they made that stuff for wood floors! I won't use it on my wood furniture because it leaves a build-up and a film and I hate that, but then maybe they have changed their formula since I first tried it eons ago. Old English I use on my wood furniture exclusively, I'll see what they have for floors. Maybe the stuff I use on my furniture I can use on the floors too, gee... why didn't I think of that? Der.

I have red oak flooring in the lower level of my house. I had them refinished about 8 years ago. A friend recommended using a product called Moisture Cure. I have to say, I swear, my floor looks as good as the day they did it. No hazing or fading. Just great !!! This stuff might be outlawed or something by now, I do know you have to stay out for a day or two while it dries and the fumes go away but it's worth it.

Johnson's paste wax, sometimes called Butcher's wax. Although buffing it by hand would be a hassle. I would rent a buffer.
