We're on our second day of -40+ Celcius with windchill. It's warming up though...to -27C and the windchill makes it -37.

Ah well, it only lasts a few days to a couple of weeks. Could be worse, I guess.

Yeah, block heaters are somewhat common here, mostly on older cars and
particularly with diesel power... Rarley see the on later EFI cars that run well when frozen...

I just use Synthetic oils and they don't all thick in the cold, so the block heaters aren't really needed.

I've lived in Mass most of my life and normally this time of year is tough. It was almost fucking 70 a few days ago! No snow yet either, weird man, weird.
