on our Classifieds. Why can't a seller throw up an item with a minimum opening price that is open to bids? Or am I just bored and a little drunk.

Yeah, but we know us. I think. It's kinda like OBO, but not really. It could be fun. Or, I could be off my ass. Oh well.

Actually that would be cool IMO...but the admins would end up having to babysit deals gone bad

So. Let's say I had a way cool J/C item that I put there at $20.00. And let you guys fight it out as to what it is "worth". No shills; no BS and a captive audience.

Maybe if we gave the admins a few bucks per sale......

With almost 7,000 posts, I'm not in this for myself. But, it may not be a bad idea. Or, I just like to get drunk and let the brain do what it does.

You guys are whining about Ebay. I have run 4 contests and they all had end dates. Why not do the same?

Well, why do our Classifieds get so much grief? What if a seller throws up a minimum price he will take, and not a set price, and let us bid on it. What's wrong with that?

Not sure there? I have seen many other forums that have classifieds which people can not only post comments on but they can also list gear for asking price OBO

There is a difference between "Asking Price" and lettting the item find it's "Worth" . Nevermind. It was just a thought.
