That really sucks, be thankful you have power. I'm praying it doesnt make it to the Dallas area...we have an Ice Storm warning until Monday afternoon.

You should get a hockey stick or something like a rake and beat the ice off those trees to prevent any more limbs snapping off and causing damage to your home. I had to do that several times to my Oak trees here.

Having grown up in MO, I know what ya are going thru, and then losing power in these babies really sucks, we always had a wood stove so at least we didn't freeze, We even got semi-stranded once when an ice covered tree fell and knocked a big old bridge off it base, hopefully you'll have better luck
I say the boy ain't right!

And there is 1 1/2 inches of ice under that.

Hey Adrian, go plug in your KV and turn it up to 11 on your amp, and blow all that ice loose...

I hope your house is ok bro. I haven't lost power hear either but most of the neighborhoods around me are all dark.

You guys in MO and TN should be more worried about the mega-quake that's coming. I saw it on the Discovery channel yesterday so it must be coming

              Damn dude, what a mess.

On a side note, I was in shorts today taking all the XMAS decorations down and managed a bead or two of sweat. At 10:30 A.M. approx. 78 Deg F in Tampa.
A lot of times it sucks living down here, but A LOT of the Times it is the best place to live.
Hope you get out of that mess pronto.

I just left the house for some essentials myself. Things are icy here but the roads are clear. Tomorrow morning should be interesting though. If anyhting cool happens I will have to snap some pics.
