use one of the editors and click on each tab, background, bio, general info, fonts etc. make your changes. you can prewiew each time you make adjustments if you wish.Once you're done with your adjustments click on accept or apply can't remember which one.It will give you the code. Copy the code.
Go to your page into edit. and paste the code into one of your bio, general info etc etc. text areas. Only one box has to be done in order to apply to the whole page.Save or apply your changes.

ps.........I had to get my daughter to help me

myspace sucks...i can't stand it. I have a mysopace only to check up on my kids and that is it...

basically find a background you like...find the code...copy it...go to edit profile and then paste it in the about me section.

why are folks inclined to bitch/whine reply to this thread you aren't going to help? If you dont want to help move on instead if calling the guy a lazy stupid fukker?

One of those page creators will work. If you are somewhat versed in HTML, you can strip thier spam out of it. My singer's step daughter loves to work on our band's MySpace. After she is done, I just go back and strip out the BS out of the code.

I've thoroughly hacked the hell out of my band's Myspace account. I find that the best way to learn is to STEAL OTHER PEOPLE'S CODE, and adjust to your liking.

That's fair enough and I fully respect that, sonic - But dont' bitch about it then. If you want something (like your MySpace) simply adjust and don't whine.

What you're asking, is a way to, blindfolded, point and click your way to a cool MySpace without knowing jack sh*t about coding. And then you complain about it when you cannot do so. Well d'oh, brother! No pain no gain.

I agree, the way MySpace handle things are not exactly intuitive, but if I really wanted a page set up, I would dig in and learn their way of doing it... make an effort. Things don't always come easy.

From a web designers point of view MySpace is a nightmare. Copy and paste your HTML into the box, it looks good and when you go to preview it decides to leave out part of command for no particular reason. Places to actually sign in and out are very few and far between. I usually just click on someone's pics and it asks me to sign in. Friends mysteriously disappear.

Second thought, maybe ya better not... Might look creepy... Just forget it and realize they rule over you in HTML talent, and you'll just have to have have a generic page the kids can all laugh at... It's ok man... I mean, little kids "are" pretty smart these days...

                    Exactly!

                    I had a 16 y/o niece of the g/f set mine up!
It took her lest than 5 minutes.

Should have only taken that long...she's on the thing 24-7 when she visits us.

                    Good luck with yours!
