Use one of the free my space page editors. Look for the icons on others pages usually at the top left and just click on it and then follow the directions. Use ours if you like on the six foot rain page.(there are many others)

So, it's actually required that you read a little and learn about the basic html codes? To make your MySpace happen. Holy freakin' shit, that's insane! How can they expect people to study for almost an hour! (to your own benefit). Jesus, this is pissing me off - someone actually demanded you to study and read stuff. That's outrageous! They should build the page for you over the phone for free. F*ckin' insane! Bastards! Why should you get off your lazy ass and c-a-r-e for something or even l-e-a-r-n something? What is this World coming to? Asking you to make an effort! That's not fair! I want it all on a silver plate like I'm used to

To be fair, I know enough about HTML coding to do a basic page (background, etc) but I could not find the links on my MySpace page to actually get to that point! Are they buried somewhere? I tried doing it in my profile page but it didn't show up when I was done.

While I don't need someone to hold my hand, I do expect the "Build Your Site" link to be plainly visible.

to be fair jackson 1...as a teacher i think there's far more important things to do with my time than learn html, and secondly given the fact myspace is made up of ordinary people, who in al fairnes problem aren't very computer literate when it comes to coding html, u'd have thought that'd it would be more user friendly, like this site which explains how to do pics and the like

Geezz... 10 year old little girls are running rampant with extreme page design there. Maybe ask one of them to help? Heehee...

Second thought, maybe ya better not... Might look creepy... Just forget it and realize they rule over you in HTML talent, and you'll just have to have have a generic page the kids can all laugh at... It's ok man... I mean, little kids "are" pretty smart these days...

I did put the HTML in the right place, then. Interestingly enough, the only HTML it kept was the link to the JCF

All the other stuff I put in - background image, colors, etc etc - wasn't processed (or was deleted?).

Maybe I forgot to close a tag and it cleaned it up for me....by deleting the other tag

Usually I do all my HTML in CoffeeCup (Ebay listings, etc) then copy/paste the whole thing once I'm done. I guess this time I forgot to include the closing HTML and BODY tags.

Ah well, I need to redo some pics anyway

Yeah, it's in CSS, not HTML.
