        I'm with you on this Fett. You could greatly increase your risk to personal injury by standing on a ladder when it's cold, snowy, and icy. Chances are pretty good that your carport won't collapse. An ER and Hospital bill are gonna be more costly than your carport and van.

        The only thing I would do is call your insurance guy and lower your deductible. Hopefully they let you do that for at least one month?
