Dave will not go back to Jackson. He has stated basically (not literally, but from the things he's been reported as saying regarding the Fender buyout) that he feels betrayed by JCMI, just as much as he feels betrayed by Lars and James about being kicked out of Metallica.

What's the deal with Dean? I've played a few that were pretty cool...But that was long before Washburn bought the company though. Maybe that's the problem?

Dean only licensed the headstock design and ML body style to Washburn for the Dime signature models. Washburn didn't buy Dean.

Regarding the time difference between Mustaine and Dean's announcements, that does not prove it's not Dean, IMO.

Obviously Dean will have enough going on that they wouldn't want their small booth swarmed with people drooling over Dave, and Dave probably wants to be in his own area to make his detailed announcement/press conference anyway, given the size of his ego.

Then again, maybe Dave will make his announcement at 10AM, but threw out the 1PM time as a decoy?

10AM Pacific Time IS 1PM Eastern Time....... just a thought.....

Yes but Dave is on Pacific time and was the one who said 1pm...Isnt Dean in the East. It's the other way around...It would be 4pm Eastern time.
