Speakin of people getting shot, What the fuck are these players doing hanging out at strip clubs, or seedy night clubs at 3 or 4 in the morning, nuthin like driving around in a shitty part of town in a couple hundred thou. ride, not just the NFL but some other major sports, the common connection seems to be they were inner city kids and now they're actin like big shots in front of their "homies" hell with their money, if wanted to look at strippers and get fucked up with my buddies, I'd get em to come my place.

In what way would that be poetic justice??

It would be ironic yes....but I don't see where you're coming from.

Just completely unbearable. I, and many friends of mine, won't even watch a game when they're playing, it's THAT BAD.

The last good, fun football we had to watch was the 99 Rams, and i'm not even a big Rams fan but at least they were talented and fun to watch.
        HAHAHAHAHA
you sore fans make me chuckle!!!

When you consider the Pats have used Viniteri so often to save their butts in the past, and the Pats owners refusing to resign him, saying that no kicker is worth the money Adam V. wanted, it would serve em right if he knocked em out

Either big shots, or "keeping it real" by going back and hanging out at their "roots".

All they did was expect him to do his job. Nothing more nothing less. He was paid to kick field goals. And I agree with management of NE in that no kicker is worth that kinda coin.

True poetic justice would be if Adam MISSED a critical FG late in the game PROVING that a kicker isn't worth that kind of money LOL.

                FusionFarmer,
honestly, that's what scares the crap out of me!
I'm hoping it doesn't come down to that, BUT, speaking of that, if that's how you feel, wouldn't it be a kick in the apple bag if the roookie walked in and killed the Colts season! :ROTF:
He's been pretty good as of late and the two playoff games hasn't seemed to effect him, he did hit a 50 yarder Sunday, and Adam did miss not one, but TWO ( ) when he came back here to NE... hmmmm

Ya gotta remember Veniteri has never missed in RCA dome, I really like both teams and won't be upset no matter who wins, I just see some posibilities of some great theatre here, given the situation with A.V.

Not "sore" at all, just tired of bad football.

Between this team, the Steelers last year, and a few others it's just boring, unwatchable football unless your a fan of that team.

I despised Dallas through the 90's, but looking back I appreciate that they were talented and entertaining, something which is sorely lacking today. Maybe most are just getting used to this brand of bland football, I don't know.

In any event, glad you enjoy it, good for the Pats fans.

If we get Colts/Saints i'll tune in to the SB, otherwise i'll be doing something better with my time that day.

i've read some pretty outraegeous shit in this thread. Better football? The Patriots remind me of the Yankees in the mid 90's through 2001. they make you pay when you make a mistake and turn the football over. Better football? i guess that 2 point conversion call sucked didn't it-lol
What a call!!!! And this is a Jet fan speaking here. The patriots will outplay the Colts ,and outcoach them once again.
Who wants to bet.? and the AFC is clearly stronger by a mile, or 7 maybe.
Not helping the situation since 1965!

                          He saved them twice.

In the Carolina Super Bowl, he missed two kicks before hitting the last one.

Kickers and the kicking game are way overrated.

The Carolina-Patriots Super Bowl, however, is widely regarded as one of the greatest ever.

Well, Im not a sore loser or anything. I just hate the Pats, always have. Its an AFC east thing, ya know? Belajerk snubbing the Jets just adds to it. I hate the fat crap Tuna too. When The cowboys lost I laughed so hard. The look on his face was priceless. I hope hes gone from there and football in general. Well at least we beat them once this year, and thats with no team to speak of. Oh, I hate the Dolphins too, LOL, but I kind of feel sorry for them lately. Some great defensive players on that team will probably end up with nothing to show for their careers. I know it wont help any but "Go Colts!"
