i tip my hat to the Patriots, they shouldn't have won the first one ralph I agree on that play, but they have clearly been the best team in the NFL for the last 6 years, and taking out San Diego in San Diego was what made me think they were going to win today, and they should have, they didn't play 60 minutes today like they usualyy do, they played about 50. I've never seen bellicheks team blow an 18 point lead in the playoffs, Congrats to Payton Manning, he deserves a super bowl with all that he's accomplished , and I think they win if their defense can keep it together. Lots of preparation for both teams, lots of film to watch for 2 weeks.Not helping the situation since 1965!Comment

Patriots were spent. This is why you have to play for a bye, and that's why I give all the credit to Indy. They won 3.
New England had 5 straight weeks of gut wrenching warfare in the trenches. Indy played it smart, dinked and dunked down the field and war the Patriots out. A few of those Indy drives were 14 plays long.
The Pats played the Jags, Titans, Jets, Chargers and Colts in succession, with only one of those games at home. Way too much for a bunch of old fogies to overcome.Comment

A lot of teams win the bowl and then that's it, they had the their moment in the sun, The Pats won the first one, just missed missed the playoffs then came back to win two in a row, then made it to the divisional round, and then made it to the championship round... yeah, a lot of teams do that on a regualr basis.Comment

That was a helluva football game. My sons at half-time said that the Pats are goonna win. I was telling them that you can't count Peyton Manning out as that offense can put some points on theboard in a hurry so 3 scores is no big deal.
