I would add that that song Action was done much better by Sweet back in the early 70's. still a shitty song, but they did it better than this dude...
the guitar players look damaged - they've been outcasts all their lives

Ha. My band in 1984 actually did a song from Thor and my guitar teacher was in the band.

      Funny stuff.

Jon is one big dude though...Just look at his mellon!!! And that bar he bends if fukn solid! Laugh but the guy lives quite nicely and has a very hot young woman by his side...royalties rollin in! Life is good!

If I ever get the balls, I should ask him if the Merv show even makes him squirm???

Steve and Kent got back from a short western tour and said it was total Spinal Tap the whole time! "Where can I get eye liner here??? I need my eye liner!!!"

If Manowar won't admit to at least have drawn SOME inspiration from Thor I'd be disappointed in them. None of them are cooler than Conan The Barbarian anyway

Yeah...It's the cheesiest but good ol Jon knows it better than anyone...haha!

Actually...he is a super cool guy who doesn't thing for one second that he is anything but an entertainer of cheese metal. He really puts on a good show and makes fun of himself constantly...Makes a living at it to.

                  First vid...I can't watch it...

That 2nd vid is so horrid …It was filmed at our jam spot and I have no idea WTF the extreme sport clips have to do with anything???

When played this show with him (Kent and Steve pulled double duty) he stood at the side of the stage and watch our whole set...I thought that was pretty cool of the guy...Then we had Dennys at 3am haha...Just good fun.
ahahahahaha the good ol cobalt never thought i would see a pic on here from there
so i thought i would add another one,me playing the Cobalt

Just remember it's not good to come first, a gentleman always "treads water". Ahem.

Not sure if I can face watching a vid of Thor just now, but can remember him blowing up hot water bottles until they burst. I could do exactly the same thing......... with crisp packets.
Oh, and I remember his sidekick called Pantera who had the most enormous tits. Ah, memories.
So I woke up,rolled over and who was lying next to me? Only Bonnie Langford!

                          I nearly broke her back

True, but your statement that Manowar must have drawn inspiration from the band Thor is still untrue since Manowar have been around since 1979.

Just keeping sight of the original point here!
