That Route 23 (also known as Decker) is nasty! I live right near it. I took it once and never again!

Yup, that is the one. We only rode a portion of it. It was just taking too long to complete and we wanted to be off that road before dark.

Yes, that "we" is correct - you and all the millions living there

I was out there last week as well. Lived there for 30 years, out for 10. I miss it, but I miss the way it used to be. Just too F'ing crowded now.

Nice pics Scott. Did you rent those bikes? You need to pick out a Buell on your next trip for some Canyon carving! Makes me want to take a trip out there soon. I lived there for over 11 years a long, long time ago. It's been raining here in Houston since Christmas. I'm thinking I may be living in Seattle right now. Starting to get webbed feet:ROTF:

Again, nice pics, glad you enjoyed your trip.

Yeah, we rented the bikes. The cost of getting our bikes out there from the east coast would have been rediculous. All they had were these Fat Boys and Deluxe's. I originally booked the only Low Rider they had, but because of ignition trouble, I had to settle for that tank.

seriously though, great views and catching them on a bike must've been very cool

There were no bikini chicks or beach bunnies. It did not even hit 70 degrees out there last weekend.:ROTF:

Just too short. I have to go back out west and spend a week riding when the days are longer.

Ron has a Busa? No way I didn't realize. Makes perfect sense but I thought he had Ninja or something like that for some reason
