I don't think the guitars will do much for you,but the amps will sell really good.It surely will increase your profit.

The Valve King and Windsor seem to be getting a lot of action, seems like people are starting to get used to the idea of Chinese tube amps, The Hartley Peavey signature guitars especially the USA Special are nice and should sell, I think I would avoid their entry level or mid level import guitars, all their USA tube amps are quite popular, Classic series, XXX, JSX, 6505, and as far as Solid State stuff the transtube series is good as well.

Peavey amps are great. Guitars are meh they are a hard purchase because they hold no resale value. PA Gear is good. Peavey is a solid line and should be a staple of your store.

Amps, yes, an excellent line to carry. Guitars, meh. Not bad, but nothing to write home about.

Of course I can't speak for anybody but me, a nonworking hack. But Peavey has always been good to me: bought my first real amp in about 1983, a Backstage Plus. Great little amp, really hate that I sold it, so a couple of years ago I got another one just like it.

Don't know why, since I've got a XXX head. I've put a lower gain preamp tube (12AT7) in one spot (V2) just to tame it a bit, so here is what I get for my $: a three channel, EL34/6L6 amp with clean I love and great classic rock crunch and ear bleeding gain when I want it.

My dealings with support have been great: I haven't need service, but on a whim I called them up one day and asked if I could have the schematics - they said sure, and sent it right out on their dime. No reason (and I told them that, I was just curious), just because.

What more could I hope for?

Sorry that I don't work it X times a week, to give a working musician's input, but that is all I know about Peavey firsthand.

Go for it. I think you should stick to the amp line.

At the very least with Peavey you have an alternative amp to sell to people who can't afford either the Marshall or the Boogie with comparable quality.

Peavey stuff is fine. It's popular and affordable for the most part. Seems like a smart move Matt.

I had a delta Blues 4-10 and honestly that and my les paul got me the best Zep tone I ever had. It wasn't spot on Page but it sounded great still.

The amps sell well. The guitars are nice, but nothing special. Actually, I really liked the Wolfgang I played once at SamAsh, but the pickup selector was on the upper horn, making it next to useless. I have zero experience with anything else they sell.

I would do it. I've never owned a Peavey, but, I VERY RARELY hear anything bad about the company and I think most of the posts here show why. I've been really wanting to try out the new Windsor amp.

I like their amps and for the money you can't go wrong with them. I played a lot of Peavey's at the last 3 NAMM shows and I think they were very nice guitars. Go for it!
