  • A friend lost...

    Man I just got a call today that sucked!!! A guitar player friend of mine was killed on the 13th in a motorcycle accident. I met Mike 14 years ago when he was teaching at my music store. Such a great guy and a massive talent-chicking pickin' to shredding with the best. He has over a 100 students with a waiting list and also helped teached children's rehab center. He will be greatly missed in our local musician's community. Rest in peace bro...

    Michael (Mike) Harrison, age 47, of Smyrna, GA died on January 13, 2007. He is survived by his mother, Marian Harrison; brother, Paul Harrison and his wife, Margaret; nieces, Amy, Julie, Emily; nephew, Scott; Uncle Denzil and Aunt Josephine. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Rehab Music Program at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, 1687 Tullie Circle NE, Atlanta, GA 30329

          Wow Tony, I'm so sorry for your loss. WTF is happening here, man? Such a tragedy and he was way too young. He and you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

            wow it truly is a sad day whenever a "brother" or guitarist passes, i guess he will still live on thru his pupils.

                      Yeah its been strefull, Mike lost his older brother a year ago and then his Dad past Dec. from cancer. I'am waiting to call his mother I know she is strong but she is also old. So I will wait it has to be hell for her losing 2 son's and her husband in a year. She has her immediate family to comfot her. Thanks again for the prayers..TW

                              Thanks guys,
                              Well I went today-man was it hard. I found out that Mike was just riding his bike and someone turn in front of him and he t-boned them-and that was it.
