  • Wife taking bass lessons

I bought her a bass, cause she wanted to learn, so she's scheduled to take bass lessons...........................her teacher...........................the bassist for Black Label Society.

Now I don't know sh*t about Black Label Society. I'm a 70's kind of music guy, so I hope I don't have to learn anything out of my league on guitar :ROTF: :ROTF: .

Wow! That is kick ass. My wife took up bass playing after we started dating, but she learned what she obtained from me and not a pro! Your wife is lucky to be able to start off on the right foot. It'll make her playing much less frustrating and more enjoyable. As we all know, those first couple of years can make or break your enthusiasm.

She has a great (natural) ear for music. She corrects me when I'm fukkin up.

Of course she had to 'fix' up her new bass, so now I have a white Fender Bass with hibiscus flower stickers and a hibiscus strap sitting in my bedroom.

Congrats to the wife, Don! I was gonna ask you if you wanted to buy her a nice '78 Ric. I saw you already got her a bass. Cool.

Very cool, I just bought Vin a bass for my son Vinny for Christmas and he took to it like a fish to water..He's splapping already..it took me almost 10 years to get to that point but I didn't have anyone show me..

Until I bought a Louis Johnson Star Licks video in the 80's..then I became a slappin' fool!!

She trying to be a fish? If so, tell her to take great White lessons. Might as well be the baddest ass fish in the sea.

Seriously, it sounds pretty darn cool man.
