  • Queensryche's 1st EP

That thing kicked Ass....next favorite from them was Rage for Order then Warning....the rest....were OK. But the first EP....classic. WHat was that 1983? Now that was a good 80's band. Sorry for anyone who liked that Glam stuff but THAT was 80's metal. Them and Maiden, Priest, Savatage you get it

QR was one of my favorite band up until Empire.
all their albums before that kicked total ass.

Rage for Order was their best IMO.

Hell yeah! My favorite QR song. Also really loved Prophecy off the CD version of the EP (I think it was also on The Decline of the Western Civilization Part II - The Metal Years soundtrack).

Operation Live Crime is actually on VH1 Classics "In Concert" at the moment, for anyone interested!

Prophecy is one of their best. That one was not on the original EP it was only four songs. That was a B side or maybe it was originally just for the soundtrack and they added it on a re-release

Yeah, the original EP was only four songs (I've got it on vinyl). I also have the CD of it with Prophecy.

I've got that album also, the best of their albums in my opinion! I remember the first time I heard "Queen of the Reich" was when I saw the video on MTV back when it first came out, when it was really MUSIC TV. It kicked A$$. I ran right out an bought the EP. Funny thing is though, a year or so later, I went to a local "Record" shop in my town where Queensreich was signing albums. So now I have 2 copies of the EP, one unplayed and authographed in silver markers by all the members.

I love EP's. Ratt's and Q/R's EP's rank as all time favorites of mine.

If you can get a copy and still have a turntable it's worth it. Very raw and not the best recording, but IMO, they sound awesome.

Cool. I'll try to track it down. My parents actually bought me a new stereo for Christmas... with a turntable! Been listening to a lot of vinyl lately.
