And to think that some people think Jackson enthusiasts are narrow minded Heavy metal guys. Don't get me wrong...I am. But apparently they can recognize talent when they see it.

I think Prince would be suprised to see that a thread like this exists here.

I am a narrow-minded heavy metal guy too, but I really like his playing. I'm not into his music at all, but he sure knows how to handle his fiddles. There are few players that can play with such class as he.

I thought his playing was pretty weak. I was surprised actually. The playing was sloppy and the licks were straight out of the Joe Anybody bar band menu. Teenage cliches one after another.

But: he owned the stage, his tone was pretty good (if overcompressed] he sang great and had a lot of 'tude. Being a musical genius doesnt hurt either. He was Prince. It was a refreshing superbowl act. Mix was brutal.
