Upgraded from winter storm to blizzard warning in effect till 7:00am wed.
The worst is yet to hit...a 300 mile radius is till yet to hit Northern Indaina.
If there is a "blizzard" weather conditions forcasted I can call off and it doesn't count against me. Yep, already done that.

Well we had a whole inch of snow in England the other day and luckily, by the grace of God, we saw it through. Not before chaos had ensued, all the schools had closed down with the news reporters wetting their panties about the "severe weather warning" and the resultant transport network meltdown.....

Jeez, just once, I'd love to see REAL snow, like you are about to get there. Like Scatman Crothers drove through to get to the Overlook Hotel in the Shining, snowmobile and everything. Now THAT is snow.

Go out, build a snow-dong, then come and post pics of it. That'll cheer me up (and your neighbours too)

I'll gladly give ya all mine.
I've got about 7-8 inches already and approx. 7-8 inches more by tomorrow morning. The family is taking turns shoveling the driveway and sidewalk.
Believe me its much better this way than waiting to shovel it all at once, thats a back breaker.

Just took a measurement, I have a touch over 10 inches of accumulation.
Went from a level 2 to level 3 (code red) snow emergency alert.
Visibiilty is right around 100 feet, plow/snow trucks will suffer because of this, because as the night progresses visibilty will only get worse with 40 mile winds and whiteouts are expected.
In other words, limited use if not none at all for even emergency vehicles in a level 3.

Probably 5"-6" of accumulation thus far. Weather man just predicted another 8"-10" of accumulation on top of the existing. I seriously doubt it but it doesn't matter. No way will PSU cancel classes for tomorrow afternoon.

We got a butt load of snow so far. It looks like about 8 inches of the white fluffy stuff. AKA albino brain chiggers. My boss sent us home early cus of the snow and it was just gettin worse too. The wind is nasty and its just makin everything worse. A plowed street one minute will have huge drifts a minute later. It's nuts. People seem to forget how to drive in snow too. bastages

Well...my school got a cancellation for the first time in like 5 years. Go Cleveland weather. Fook...now I have a thermo test friday morning at 8:30 because of it.

Ugh... We did get a bit of snow... I got some 3-4ft drifts in my yard to shovel out of. I guess generally 10 or so inches.

5 hours drivin in that crap yesterday too. But, I made it to Slayer and it was a great show...
