  • A new fett contest. I see the light.

I will love this for a week or two and then put it on Ebay. I have no idea how much I will get. (Squier). I will post a no-reserve auction with a 99 cent start. Here's the contest: The winner has to be within 50 cents of the winning bid. The contest ends on the day the auction is posted. The prize will be detemined later. It's 17.5 pounds of marble. It's about 15" high. It's in very good shape. It's a regular" Antigue Roadshow".

Oh, and you can guess as many times as you like. You old guys will remember those two bronze lamps I had. I may not know guitars, but I know my lamps, damnit. And sewing machines. I'm muti-faced.

            Hey Fett,

I'm a long-time listener, first time caller. Seeing that you know a lot more about sewing machines than I do, do you know anything about these?

That black Singer could be a winner. It's like a free-arm. That looks like a very old factory type treadle that quilt ladies might just love. If I saw the black one, I would buy it in a second if the price was right. They are both industrial grade machines. So the tan one could be cool as well.

Yeah, the black one has been sitting around here for a very very long time. The beige one was one of many sewing machines we liquidated at a factory closing auction (another one bites the dust in the USA). A lot of the Singer industrial machines went for $50 to dealers... If you're interested I could send you a list of what was sold.

I would find everything there is to know about quilting. I may be off base here. But I can just see some lady wanting to treadle her way into quilting heaven. And you are stealing my thread.:ROTF: :ROTF: :ROTF: :ROTF: Ohhhhh, the pun.

Just as long as it's not $16 + fees. If you are right, I won't break even.
