  • Ok, NOW can we call a "shred truce"? (vid)

Call me French, but the new bar has been set at 8 strings and 14 notes-per-second. <sigh>

Impressive. Very fast. I would like to hear him play something alot slower to see if his feel is as good as his speed.

I made a video of myself playing an 11 string guitar at 67 notes per second. I'd post it, but the file got damaged, and then um, my camcorder went on the fritz, and then I got tendonitis, so like now I can't post it. But I got skillz man.

Really cool percussive effect coming from that sheer speed.

Or, like a colony of bumblebees making a song.

Damn, I wanna see high-speed-capture video of the guy's alternate picking hand. At this speed and crappy camera quality, his right hand isn't even moving.

Ehhhh, what do I know, I can barely play SLOW to begin with.

I have to agree. Way Way Way too many pics for each finger position. Only a couple times did heis left hand come close to complimenting what his right hand was doing. And when he actually did do a riff in there it sounded like someone who has only been playing for a week.

I like how a guy can play at a level that most will never attain and you can conclude in a 2 minute demonstration that he sucks His little melodic breaks had a very nice Yngwie ish vibrato...and yes...His his left completed what his right was doing...Do you know exactly what he was "trying" to achieve?

I'd love to hear him play to some backing music.

                            This is the same guy...

                            Even more impressive...
