I liked it..looks like he put in a alot of time to get where he's going. As far as speed it concernerned, I'll stick to players like Gilbert and Loomis..they have all the speed I need but say something doing it ..instead of speed for speed sake..

I must give respect to those who put there time in and reach their goals...there is people who do appreciate that particuliar skill level.

I'd never call a skill such as this pointless or boring..it may not be your cup 'o joe, and most likely not your language..but this does speak to many players out there into this sort of thing.

Yeah, I love Macalpine, Howe, Gilbert, Becker, Friedman, Malmsteen, Lane etc etc too.. Actually I listen to them way more than Hendrix etc..
My point was that video seemed to be aimed more at BPM than the guys guitarskills, altho he had some very cool stuff in there for sure!
But the way that vid was promoted was more like "hey look how fast this goes".. I mean none of the big guys from the 80's bragged about how many BPM they could play did they? If they did I'll apologize, but I've never heard of that. They showed up, played their asses off, but I don't think none of them ever said "hey people, today we're gonna play so and so many BPM.. watch me do something you can't" Come on, roll with me here someone hehe

I would rather be like Marcel Coenen, or maybe Greg Howe.
