That was really really impressive. While I don't think there is any use for that much speed, the guy's technical skills of string jumping arpeggios and uber-fast alternate picking are just incredible...

I did find it a bit boring and pointless... but it was pretty amazing at the same time.

That's cool from a whole different perspective. I find it impressive more from an athletic standpoint than a musicianship/creative level.

If that guy applied the time and dedication to get to that point in another area of athlethics, he could probably be an Olympic medalist!

Pretty ridiculous .. actually the part I enjoyed most was when he slowed down. The rest was just silly ... props for the time he spent getting there though ...

Yes..musical or not..it is a goal he obviously worked hard at to acheive.

He's not alone, there is many gunslingers who want to be the fastest gun in the west..that mindset was at the dawn of guitar to be honest..too some players anywhoo..
