Drugs and two generations

Of course I tried out weed (3x times)...Never had to pay for it or anything...
It was like smoking a normal cigarette...
I`ve tried it then and never again...
When I go to concerts and stuff I usually drink red wine or beer...
But, when it`s party time then it`s party time(rare)...then I drink my
favourite drink : Jack Daniels... or Jägermeister
Smoke a cigarette or two and that is that...

Drugs don`t fascinate me or anything in that way...
I`m always against it...
Hate those fucking potheads on our school...

I did my time smoking pot, but it got out of hand. I just walked away from it, and haven't picked it up since.

I usually drink like a fish though, but... I haven't been drunk for about 4-5 months now. I work all weekend, and my studies are too intense for me to do anything during that week, haha!

Wow, I'm surprised to see that some of you tried hard stuff - heroin, coke, etc. How hard was it to get of this? I always heard that once you try that, you're pretty much hooked.

I never did any drugs, smoked pot once though...didn't do anything for me. When I go to concerts or partys I usually drink beer or wine, no hard liquors.

Howhard is it to get off? DT's I guess can be a bitch but I was immune. Never had DT's from much of anything except maybe some GAMA reintroduction. With addiction though it is more the root of the problem you must deal with I think. It is much less what you are doing and more why are you doing it.

I believe and correct me if I am wrong but only Alcohol and Heroin can kill you on detox. I beleive that is true.

Not true. Heroin detox can't kill you, but you want to kill yourself. There isn't enough space here to get the message through. I am writng a book though, and it's gonna be a great read. It certainly will not be boring, and some of it you won't believe, but it will be nothing but the facts of my life. It's a fight I get punched in the face by everyday, but somehow I still am looking young, have alot of hair, and ride my skateboard with a smile. Maybe I just never grew up, nor want to, and probably never will. I don't like the idea.

Pre 18 years, Pot, Hash, Mesc, Acid, Shrooms, Dust, Beer, Liquor. Sometime around 18 I stopped everything I think I had gotten partied out. Packed in enough partying from 15 to 18 for 3 people. LOL I was the guy thank drank himself sick wandered off for a few minutes and puked everything up and came back for more. I think we all know someone like this, LOL

Late 20's I did a lot of steroids do those count? LOL

I supposed now I am an old fart that doesn't do much but have a few beers now and then.

Never tried and Coke, Crank, Crack or Heroin. As a tip, if you know anyone trying to kick Heroin or Crank, support them! They are going through hell you cannot imagine.

Employers over here don't drug test (at least mine doesn't), and either way, I would have tested clean for the past 8 years or so, but you know how it is...

mmmm hash under glass. I hit 38 next week. I started early. At 9 my brothers were 17 and 18. Ever see a stoned 8 year old? I was a mini-hippie. Led Zep, Little Kings creme ale, Red Bud, blond hash and I hung out at a roller skating rink. Skating with 16 year olds is fun when you're a foot shorter than they are . Anyway, by twelve I had smoked myself stupid and by 14, scored some windowpane(acid). At 17 shrooms came to town. Way cleaner high. By 19, coke hit our small town and I applied my chemistry class achievements to making freebase(crack). 8 months passed and I O.D.'d. Guess an 8 ball by myself was too much. Being hardheaded I kept going. Discovered the last of the real ludes, percodan,
soma, xanax, bluetips(tuinol), reds(seconal) brewed some mushroom tea(very potent, don't recommend it) ate a 1/2 oz of shrooms at a party(I'm still trippin ) OD'd smoking coke again, took a 8 way windowpane(still trippin ) hurt my back at work and got addicted to Talwin(synthetic morphine) and drank myself to death(pumped my stomach, got lucky).
That was at 23. I quit everything but weed. Didn't drink for 10 years. Wasn't an alcoholic, just a f'ng drunk. Two and a half years ago, I quit pot too...for a year and a half. Christmas came and so did some seedbank hydro. Yes Virgina, there is a Santa Clause!!! I smoked last year and this past Christmas, I quit again. Jose Cuervo keeps me sane. I love to "self medicate" with the peacepipe but sometimes I gotta clear my head. No more chemicals and no more hallucinogens. I may drinks 2 drinks 4 times a year. I wish I could put down the cigarettes. Go ask Alice, she'll send you to me. If you find me, I'll break out the last patented Steamroller and share whats in the freezer. What a long strange trip it's been!

I can't for the life of me figure out why alcohol is legal and pot is not. Too much propaganda on it. I know a lot of people who smoke and if you knew them you wouldnt believe they do.

+1 I've never done anything other than drank alcohol and smoked pot. I don't even smoke cigarettes, and they're more addicting than either (though, I can't for the life of me figure out how pot could be addictive anyway.) Alcohol and pot have pretty much the same effect, just pot doesn't give you a hangover. I smoked pot one time that was laced with angel dust (I just wasn't told there was angel dust in it beforehand). I got cold, the joints in my arms and legs got stiff (angel dust is a form of animal tranquilizer), but I still had the munchies real bad. I've never touched anything else and really have no desire to.

I am 16 and I've never ever once drank anything alcohol or smoked pot no drugs or anything not even a cigarette. Ever. And I don't intend to ever start. Although basically all my friends smoke pot and drink and only one (that I know of) does cocaine so everyone basically pegs me as guilty by association, but I see no advantages whatsoever of being high or drunk other than you act retarded for a few hours and I get to fuck with my friends' depth perception (or lack of it) and make them fall over into shit :ROTF:

PS: I'm with Nazgul I'm rather surprised that so many of you did such hardcore stuff, but im glad that you were able to quit it .

EDIT: One reason why i don't do any drugs is because last year drummer that goes to my high school was way into drugs once took 60 pills in school, went to geometry class, and promptly passed out sitting at his desk. Apparently the teacher thought he was sleeping when he thought he was having an out of body experience and floating through the hall ways. He doesn't do any drugs not even pot anymore.
