    I can't believe it.

If I were stranded on a desert island and could only take one album, their first album would be the one album I would take.

    Brad Delp gone, crap.

I got to see their Corporate America 03/04 tour and it was kick ass. Goodbye Brad.

Very bumming. Boston was one of the first groups I was ever "into". Great music, great voice.

And funny you should mention Kiss, Kev. I can vividly remember arguing with a friend in 3rd or 4th grade about Kiss or Boston being the better band. (I was saying Boston, him Kiss.) We still joke about that to this day.

      RIP Brad.

Back around 1988 My wife and I went into a local hardware store and got an item, got in line and as I looked up the person right in front of me turned around and it was Brad.

I was young and it actually startled me a bit as I wasn't used to seeing a rockstar in "normal" life.. LOL .. My wife was encouraging me to talk to him and I kept saying no ... She asked why I wouldn't and I told her I didn't want to bother him and make a fool of myself ... LOL
Don't worry - I'll smack her if it comes to that. You do not sell guitars to buy shoes. You skimp on food to buy shoes! ~Mrs Tekky 06-03-08~

            This BLOWS!!

When I was like 10 I stayed at a friends house and we listened to a couple albums his parents had just bought. The first was Boston and up to that point I had never heard anything like that before. Quite honestly it BLEW MY MIND and that was the moment I decided I wanted to learn to play guitar. Ha... that record was SOOO good, I still remember the feeling I had hearing it for the first time.

I had a RCA or BMG membership at the time and as soon as I got home I ordered the album for myself, probably wore the grooves off the thing!

Barry Goudreau lives in MA too.. he really was the guy who played alot of the cool guitar parts in Boston.. no slight to the Tom I share a name with.

RIP. Brads voice will always be remembered as the voice that launched a million+ record sales to some of the greatest classic AOR rock to hit the airwaves.

I was on Spring break at college in 1977 and we drove from Utah to San Fran. CA to see this new band on their first album tour. I can still remember Brad hitting those impossible high notes! Later, in 1978, I saw them again at the Cow Palace. And in 1987 at the Cow Palace I saw Boston once again. I wished I got to see them on the Corporate America tour. I hate to hear things like this. His legend will live on for a long time to come. RIP once again.

Wow, I'm really stunned by this. I was actually listening to the first Boston CD today while I was working at my shop, and enjoyed it so much that I put in Don't Look Back too. I LOVED Boston when I was a kid, and I've listened to those first 2 albums consistently over the years. I have some cool Boston live bootleg videos, and Brad was totally on, every note, every song, in each of those videos. I was lucky enought to be 3rd row for the Corproate America tour a few years back, and ti was the time oif my life. What a great show!

The world has lost a major talent, and even thought I never got to meet him, I feel like I've somehow lost a friend.

RIP Brad. You'll be missed Brother.

                              RIP.

I saw them on Thiird Stage. Great show.

                              He was a great singer/frontman.

One of my favorite bands and one of myu favorite singers. I always loved Brads voice. I always wanted to see Boston live but i never got the chance. I heard Brad and Tom had both just gotten engaged and were planing to tour this summer. Now this. I guess Im not supposed to see Boston. I am deeply sadened by this. I've been playing the first album in my car ever since heard the news. What an amaizing singer he was.
