The movie 300, I saw it earlier today and its a must see.
If it doesn't it least get an oscar nominee it will be a shame.
It captivated me in the opening scene/s from then on
I was into it all the way to the end.
Imo, a definite movie worth seeing again.
I strongly recommend it for all to go see, good stuff.
Just a friendly heads up and everybody is different,
nonetheless be prepared, it may move you.

I personally do not care how it was built as long as it is a good playing/sounding instrument.

I heard GREAT things about it. Gladiator meets Sin City. Macho, testosterone power killfest. See also Manowar. "Hail to England" era.

The Chicago Tribune said it was non-stop, full throttle and only stops for dialog long enoough for you to turn to the person next to you and say, "Did you *&^$$&*ing see THAT?!". Sold. I am going to the gym, getting pumped up and heading to the theater. Early too. I don't want a shitty, neckbreaker seat.

I haven't been to the movies in a long time. This was the 1st thing that made me want to go to a theatre since last summer. Saw it this morning and it was awesome. Great battle scenes, it's a guys movie 100%, blood, tough talk, honor, and breast.

One of my favorite parts is in the beginning when the Persian messenger talks and the Queen says her 2 cents worth and the Messenger questions why she would be even be allowed to talk among men. I thought her answer was great.

There is so much buzz on this one, even my 72 year old dad (who usually stays far away from violent movies) wants to see this with me.

He did catch "Taxi Driver" on cable recently on my recommendation, and that sparked an interest in "The Departed" which we saw recently. Hmm, who knows, maybe Dad will turn into a horror fan eventually!

AWESOME MOVIE! I just got home from the movie theater and oh my god it was great. I'm going to see it again tomorrow. Must see movie right here. I only have one question, who will be the first to see the movie three hundred times?

So it's like Gladiator without all the acting then?

Seriously, it looks like it'll be worth seeing, though as with any movie these days they show all the "good stuff" in the trailers
                    That's why I haven't watched the trailers

They made those Persians look evil as hell! I saw it at a midnight IMAX showing, and unfortunately there were so many people that the only way my buddies and I could sit together was to be in about the 4th row back...which is too close on the big IMAX screen. But it was worth it! I recognized a lot of the cast, but couldn't place names.

I think "300" is proof that there is something left in the hack-and-slash medieval fantasy genre after the bar was raised so high with the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I know not everyone is a LotR fan, but the enormous battle scenes in those flicks made a lot of movie battles seem pretty tame in comparison. For instance, I watched "Troy" on DVD and was bored for 90% of it. Not the case this time!
