All of the so called "iranians" were acted by african -americans.I think the producers have never seen an Iranian before.It was an all-one-sided-epic movie.Iranians are evil,Greeks are noble and good.It sure ain't like that.It's just war.
The Persian Civilization was beyond that age,and it was very strong.And the Persians are not that much dark skinned All the actors were African-Americans.

I just saw the original movie. Yeah, you read that right: All good ideas have been done before and this IS a re-make. The movie is called "The 300 Spartans" which came out in 1962. Unfortunately I have to wait a few weeks before "300" gets released over here to compare it. Should be interesting...

I think that movie was Frank Miller's inspiration to write the 300 graphic novel... now everything has come back full circle,

Also, the ancient Persian empire covered more than what is now Iran.
