A swedish band takes the cake. Not only does "Bob Hund" (Bob the Dog) have a really stupid name - they also make really poor music (pretentious and incredibly boring pop).
And here is their logo (and I'm NOT joking!):
EDIT: And to top it off; my girlfriend mentioned just now that Bob Hund's drummer once stole (and consumed) her beer, at Thrashbar in Stockholm some time in the early 90's. So not only are they a crappy band - they're also assholes.
