I've listened to almost all of those except 1349. Although I have heard a lot about them. Need to check it out.
BTW, is Children of Bodom black metal? Off late, their new albums are wandering away from it, but I've read Alexi's interviews where he's saying that he does not care for following the rules of black metal and stuff like that.
awesome dudes alot i've heard and a lot that i haven't. I'll check em out thanks!

I was gonna upload Asmegin for you, as it's some of the most brilliant Norwegian metal I've really ever heard, but it's like black/folk metal. It was my favorite album for probably 6 months, and I'm a technical brutal death guy. Dunno if you'd get into it or not, though it is pretty complex, and if you want it I can post it for you.

I'd say that their first two CDs (Something Wild and Hatebreeder) were black metal crossed with neoclassical stuff. Then they slowly went downhill. Alexi used to be a big fan on Darkthrone.
Asmegin are great. If you like Finntroll but with a darker edge you'll dig them.
If anybody wants a link to the Asmegin, PM me and I'll send you a link. I don't feel comfortable posting it out right on the forum.
Lately I've been digging lots of Post-Black stuff like Agalloch, Summoning and Woods Of Ypres.
I also dig Ajattara, Darkthrone, Marduk, Ancient, Behemoth, Bathory, Venom & Celtic Frost (the originals), Gorgoroth, Naglfar, Dimmu Borgir, etc.
