I have a couple of those big friggin high voltage main power feeds crossing my place, one has metal towers the other has huge wooden posts (approx 30 inches across at the base and about 80 feet long). they replaced the wood posts a couple years ago, un friggen real watchin that shit, one false move and you'd be fried instantly

Yeah. They were pissed that there were no phone lines up there. If there were, they would have the telephone guys replace the pole.

Now, this really pisses me off. They dug down 4 or 5 feet right next to the pole 4 days ago and just left. Now, it is filling full of water and the pole is starting to lean because half the dirt that kept in upright is gone. There had better not be any kind of wind.
