So who makes the best 100 dollar guitar, with all the cheapos you've bought you should be an expert by now. The general concensus was the USA Peaveys were the best bang for the buck, just curious whats your opinion. (there ya go a half way serious guitar related post)

Talk about a downer. There is this very nice; very tall;very slim;very pretty and very my age lady that works at one of the thriftstores I go to. So I go up to the counter to set aside a cast iron skillet so I don't have to lug it around. She's on the phone yapping away. She then tells me that she is getting help for her 21 year old dau that is a crystal meth-head and she is living with her now. This lady was getting phone numbers for help. She had to do it at work because her dau would unplug the phone at home. I just told her to do what she had to do and not worry about me. Such a nice lady about as close to a living hell as you can get. I wonder how long her radiant smile will last.

That's exactly what I did and listened to her. It made me feel awful but it made her feel better. She doesn't need me. She has enough problems. It's just sad that such a nice person can end up with a problem like this. My son will be 24 tomorrow and he is as clean as a whistle. Boy, was I a wonderful Dad.

I am "So" single. I have lived a whole lifetime in 10 years from the age of 28 to 38. It would have been sweet to meet a very lovely lady and maybe have done something. But, this sweet lady has her hands full. I like the people I meet as I do my rounds. I have some very nice friends in those stores that others treat like nobodies. I will listen to her with understanding and do anything I can to keep that radiant smile on her face.
