my cat used to be on mousy patrol at nights..just sitting there by the patio door..waitin. I always thought she was a little odd until I found a mouse hole on our deck.. it was on the 3rd floor. She did eventually catch one.

I remember when my grandparents had a few cats, one of them would go and catch snakes and bring them back to the house and sit at the door with them until one of my grandparents came and commended him on his hunting abilities

lol ...I hang a birdfeeder out on my patio to provide entertainment for the cats

We have a huge holly tree next to the kitchen window and every year thousands of waxwings and sometimes robins fill the tree and gorge themselves on the ripe berrys, the outside cats don't pay much attention to em anymore but my inside cat sits in window just a couple feet away from em and chatters non stop
