Video card died, what's a good new one?

Fuckinshit! I knew this old POS was gonna die. Now all I can get is 16 colors and everything is REALLY HUGE on the screen.

Anyone got any recommendations for a decent video card for around $100? I'm not doing any gaming or anything too graphics intensive, it just has to be a good PCI video card.

Nevermind, I took a wild guess and reinstalled the drivers and it seems to be working now.

That's it though - time for a new machine. This thing is old and obsolete.

Woah, the drivers uninstalled themself? That's crazy!
Well, not that crazy. My audio drivers keep uninstalling themselves, only when I have to manually close explorer.exe however..
does that mean my audio driver embeds itself in explorer.exe? or maybe it's just a dependancy...
