It's actually pretty sedate I think. I got buddies with sub 10 cars on the street.

It's extremely well tied up and a cage is soon to come. Here, cages are required at 10.99 and faster for cars with roofs... It's slower for convertables.

It's a dry system. Up to 150 shot depending on conditions. I do usually have to run it at 75 as the traction is very limited unless I use slicks. Car needs a lot of additions (cage, control arms and suspension work) to really be safe under those conditions really and I dont have the dough to do much right now. I putt around a lot lately haha... Afraid to break something I cant afford to fix.

Right now it's in the shop getting reconstructed and repainted after an accident last summer. Should be pretty nice soon. A nice Laser Red color and new rear spoiler and front dam.

Nice, i was looking at the dry system myself because i just ported the plenum on my tuned port injection and the kits are only $500 bucks. Im hoping only to use a 100 shot just so i dont blow the motor or anything, i figure that should push me into the 11's hopefully if not just scare the shit out of my friends. Well dude if your ever in Union Grove, Wisconsin and want to go to Great Lakes drag strip let me know so we could swap more ideas and just bullshit

The dry systems work cool at low levels (100 shot is fine dry). But, since they send a vacuum/pressure reference to boost the injecter pressure via the fuel pressure regulator, you probably wanna use bigger injectors to run safe at higher levels. I'm running 24 pounds and could maybe benefit more as I saw a big jump in power going from 19 pounders to 24. But, big injectors can make the car run whacky when "not" running the juice.

Run a lot juice and the dry systems have to have such big injectors that they may not run nicely when the system isnt in use. So, a wet system is better at higher levels IMO, so you dont have to mess so much with the main injectors. But, they have their own issues as most plenums really arent meant for fuel to be injected there and fuel puddles in bad places etc, best to inject near the ports if you can devise a way.

I'm looking at going to some sort of wet and pulsed system to reduce the shock on activation... I have to launch on it, and that pretty violent. Without slicks, it doesn't hook so good and 60ft times suffer. I'd rather it came in slowly or at the top of 1st or after 2nd.

I didn't realize there were so many Stang gear heads on here. Thats awesome! add me to the list. I have a 96 Cobra and an 04 Cobra convertible in Mystic and Mystichrome color respectively. I also have a 93 coupe that I redid with blower, Tremec 5 speed and 9" rear end. And although I haven't worked on it in a few years, I do have a project car 65 Fastback thats set up for a 460 big block. Actually considering selling it and just concentrating on tuning my 93 which has a Motorsport EPEC system in it. I can't get the hang of the damn computer stuff, I'm a carb guy thats trying to learn this new fangled stuff.
The Grabber Orange GT looks great BTW. And as far as the newer GTO's go, they look too much like any other Pontiac and incidentally cost way more than a new Mustang GT. If you want better performance in a factory Mustang and you're willing to pay, consider the 07 Shelby GT500. Now that is a badass ride. I also heard that next year Ford will release a limited edition Shelby GT500KR with even more power, 540 hp!
Bill, what motor you running in that Cobra? I never knew you had one of those.
As for the new Charger, well its a 4 door so thats the end of the story for me. I can't believe Mopar called that thing a Charger The new proposed Challenger OTOH looks nice. Follows the same theme Ford did with the Mustang. Now if only it had a REAL Hemi available in it

Hey Cleveland Metal, I hear CFE is releasing new ProKing heads which feature optional injector bosses. You can use these for alcohol injection or get creative and plumb your nitrous directly here

Sorry for the multi post above, not sure what happened there. Can't get it to delete the first three. Only the last is what I intended to send.
