I agree 100% with Rich. There's a time to take a stand, and I think this is it. This is not the same as an apartment. It's your home that your folks are helping you get, and it's worth fighting for. Plus, these fucktards need to be taught a lesson.

Like I said, I'm in a much better state of mind now. I wouldn't stiff my family over this. They're just trying to force us to stay by refusing to sell the house. I guess parents never do stop trying to teach their children lessons.
We're looking into who owns the place today. The guy can't be any older than I am, drives a brand new vette, and owns a condo in an affluent part of town. Is that unheard of, no, but its definitely hard to believe. I have a feeling he's probably in a similar situation as I am, where his family likely owns the place. Once we find out for sure we'll be contacting the owners to try and set up some sort of mediation.Guitars:

She can take the association to court and either sue to have the rules enforced or demand all the fees that have been paid be fully refunded and request the association be dissolved.
If the HOA states in writing that "we can't enforce the rules", they are no longer a viable body and the HOA should be dissolved.
I've seen people lose their homes for failure to comply with HOA rules.
It's all about an HOA's desire to enforce the rules. And yes, failure to comply with HOA guidelines can, in extreme cases, get you booted from your home in a forced sale.
The question is, how long will the original poster here have to put up with the crap from the neighbors before the HOA "eventually" does something about it? They'll refrain from getting involved for as long as they can and they'll also pass the buck to the cops and building security for as long as they can.Member - National Sarcasm Society

Reminds me of a slut milf that used to rent the house across the street. This worthless bitch had three bastard teenage sons all from diffrent guys. She would work all day( beautician) and go out all night with diffrent guys. The three boys decided that this ment it was party time.We are talking extremely loud grunge music till the midnight hour and empty beer cans all over the neighborhood. It was only a matter of time before their guests began urinating in peoples yards and stealing things out of cars. After repeated attempts to have Mom take some action, (they used to yell at her to go get fucked?) when ever she tried to make them do the yard. These kids had no respect for her or anyone else. I video taped them drinking and smoking weed on the front lawn and sent a copy to the landlord.I sight of a Sheriffs patrol unit infront of their house became a weekly occurence. It all came to a head after the oldest son (19) got drunk and decide it would be fun to tell my nextdoor neighbor Vic to suck his dick. That was a very bad idea, Vic spent 12 years in special forces. The poor kid caught Vic on a bad day and recieved the ass kicking of his life. The following was the result, a dislocated jaw, broken nose, 2 broken ribs and a crushed kneecap probably from the shovel he was using in the yard. Vic was arrested and charged with aggrevated assault. The worthless tramp moved shortly after and the neighborhood has been quiet since. I took Vic out and bought him couple of pitchers of Beer and properly thanked him for cleansing the block of the problem.
