Either, Mary Had a Little Lamb or Jingle Bells I can't really remember which song was presented to us first in my guitar class in high school.

I'm pretty sure that the first song I learned on my own was Talk Dirty to Me -Poison. Say what you will about Poison, but that opening guitar riff on Nothing but a Good Time is the whole reason I play guitar.
      Damn, I love this Interweb.

One of my favorite songs ever. Just a great rock 'n' roll party song.

              Metallica - Enter Sandman

I still have a recording of me "playing" that song like two weeks after I got my first guitar. It's hilariously bad!

A bunch of classical stuff. First performance, age nine, was Spanish Dance in front of my entire elementary school. There was a violinist in my school who was a better musician than me, but I wasn't bad. Still a fun song to play.

The first riff I learned was the opening to Limelight. The first whole song I learned was Tom Sawyer.
