Beyond The Realms Of Death - Judas Priest - Glenn Tipton Solo (1st solo). It is definitely my fav though I have many I really love. So much intense feeling put into it and it really shows. I have heard it on the studio cut way back when. I've heard it on live cuts and I've seen it in person more than a couple times. Every time I hear it I get goose bumps and sometimes it almost brings tears to my eyes. You can see it in his body language every time he plays it-he's all into it Big Time! I can't say that about all that many solos. Though Gary Moore is way the hell up there for more than a few songs. Like - Still Got The Blues For You comes to mind. Santana's more recent stuff does it for me too.
I think Lillian Axe are underestimated.. Their solos are really fucking amazing.. I have that album where they put out previously unreleased songs; "Fields of Yesterday", I acrually think some of those songs are way better than what they put out after they got big. That Steve Blaze is one sick guitarist.. On my list he's one of the guys topping the list.
