  • f'nin' ebay rant

so I had to close my old account because I got all the time some (or more then 1) idiot deliberately marking invalid sales..

I tried today with my company account to sell off some obsolete guitars, and yes, here they are again.. all new accounts created the same day, all the same fony address info.. I HATE it..

I asked a zillion times why a seller just can't block these 0-feedback bidders..

thanks for letting me waste once again my evening

I'm not quite sure what you are saying. Did ebay cancel your auctions or is someone stealing your listings?
I am a true ass set to this board.

Are you saying that someone is "stalking" you on ebay and ruining all your auctions with bogus new accounts? Perhaps someone you know? Is someone pissed at you for something? Or do you think its just some random jerks.

With US Ebay you CAN block 0-feedback bidders, and you can set your auction for Paypal only, with a Buy It Now that works so they have to pay immediately by Paypal to close the auction. If they don't actually pay right then then your auction won't be closed. Kind of cuts into the pranksters' ability to ruin your auction.

Now if those options aren't available in Europe, maybe contact your Ebay and ask for them.

I just had a buyer buy my Ibeenhad bass. I had the BIN option and immediate payment required... No problems, hit the BIN, sent the payment. Though I have in my listing no 0 feedback bidders without emailing me first, they paid so Im cool with it.

Where do you do this? I cannot find it anywhere in preferences. I see you can block bidders with negative feed back scores.

                  There ias this option:

Buyers who may bid on several of my items and not pay for them:
Block buyers who are currently winning or have bought (1-100) of my items in the last 10 days.
Only apply this block to buyers who have a feedback score of (0-5) or lower.

Do you just set the first number to 1 and the second to 0 and that will block them?
