Does it have to be heavy? Take a listen to the Bangles (no sh!t storm please). They had some awesome harmonies.

Opeth usually has really interesting vocal harmonies going on when he sings clean. And of course, two guitars going pretty much all the time.

Amorphis had 2 vocalists for quite some time. One of them growled like a champ, the other did clean vocals.

I was listening to this band in my truck today and remembered this thread. Guarantee it's not a popular band among forum members, but check out Bad Religion's "The Empire Strikes First". Greg Graffin's vocals may not be the best, but he can come up with a helluva vocal line. The guitarists vocal harmonies add a lot to the choruses too. Definitely worth checking out IMO. You also can't go wrong with Saigon Kick, ass suggested earlier. Or, for a heavier vibe, Mastodon's "Blood Mountain" has some good vocal layering.
