I'm taking off from the western midwest in a couple of weeks to ride the Blue Ridge Parkway. Any suggestions for scenic backroads or things not to miss along the way in TN, KY, NC, SC, or northe GA?

If you're passing through Northwest TN, lemme know. Not much to do here, though, and it'll probably be on a day I gotta workI want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

> If you find yourself far enough up into KY to wind up on the West Kentucky Parkway, and have to travel any length on it,make sure you have plenty of music with you. It's along a mountain chain, and all you can pick up on the radio is old-school country or talk radio. Driving the full length of it takes about 4 hours, and it's the most desolate place I've ever driven.
