Speaking of double standards..D.H. Hughley on Leno last night was hilarious, the guy is bold but he was going where whitey dares not to go much mo. Guess the difference being is in the delivery and who ya are.

oh ya.. vindication. They wanted to keep sponsors and public opinion but he was also to be a 'shock jock'
..in those words as stated in his contract.
Contract breaches can be costly.. he'll get millions. Besides, what other job pays millions a year to guy his age? Not alot out there.
He'll be fine.. CBS may settle.

I find it interesting, he was once fired for saying 'hell' on the air. My how times have changed.

Remember that Stern worked for CBS when he had Daniel Carver of the KKK on his show on a regular basis. With his talk of selling cement "African Americans" in his yard to defacing Martin Luther King's name with a synonym for Satan and a contraction for raccoon, Stern promoted much worse than what Imus said on a VERY regular basis. CBS and Les Moonves let it go because Stern got much better ratings and ad dollars than Imus.

So Imus' lawyer will cite the Stern show in court and CBS can't say much to counter that. Unless the judge is just some PC liberal asshole he will HAVE to rule against CBS.
