This is one of the dumbest crusades i've ever heard of. But lately, i'll just have to wait till tomorrow to hear something even dumber. It really is getting bad. It's all geared to big corporations running the country and eventually the world IMO.

Somewhat ironic that now metal guitarists from the "free" world look toward an ex-KGB ruled Russia as the last bastion of free tabs

I remember when MySongBook.com got closed down... man, that was disappointing. Fortunately I already have way more tabs than I could ever learn from there. But not being able to get new Guitar Pro tabs from there sucks.

There are still ways to get GP tabs, but more hoops to jump through, more links to click, broken links, fake links...etc

If you want to make your own archive from metaltabs.com, the way-back-machine has a recent copy. Just go to (the awesome) www.archive.org and put in www.metaltabs.com. Pick a recent date and off you go....
