To be honest, I hadn't heard of Ratt until I came to this board (just about 80s band in between though ), and Warren and Robbin are one of my favorite guitar duos. Awesome band. RIP Robbin.

Banning Procedure Number 2, after the required ten pages someones mother's dignity must be questioned and the thread locked.

Some people are being waaay too sensative over a silly joke...lighten up!!! You can't expect people to know that Robbin had friends here. Funny how some people are called out on disrespect and others get away with it freely???

Lot's of disagreements go on here without somebody getting all "cybertuff" behind their keyboard.

I personally am a huge fan of Ratt's first two albums, and the rest of them have their moments. That said, I never saw Robbin as anything special when it came to playing. I'm not sure what his writing contributions were but if he was one of the main songwriters, I certainly respect the work that he did. I can't say the same about his playing contributions...he just didn't do it for me on the albums or when I saw them live back in the 80's.

Last Summer I spent 20 Euros on the first RATT CD. You know, the EP one. I LOVE that CD. That was like, what? $40? Money well spent. Couldn't seem to find it over here so that was my main goal in going to Europe where they have some rare CD's...

I love the first 3 RATT CD's. After that I fell out with them. But they were the shit. I can remember seeing them with Bon Jovi opening up. Bon Jovi came back a year and a half later with RATT opening up. That had to suck. They blew Bon Jovi off the stage both times though...

One funny thing. The first time when they were headlinging on the Privacy tour. Robbin had broke his leg so he couldn't move. He had all his frilly stuff on and a cast from the knee down. So he just stood there. I always thought he had good tone...

That is what is funny about this whole thread... The guy made a joke... kinda tasteless but a joke none the less. Funny how you guys want to run him up the flag pole but back Imus for what he said.

I'm sure the black members of our board would disagree with the Imus decision just as friends of Robbin would disagree with what Cyber said.
