And while I've only been here for a year, you don't have to be here from the beginning to see how things are. There are several of us that are on this board, and another Jackson board, and the topic of being banned over here every time you piss an admin off comes up every once in a while over there.
Sure what I said was out of line. And I said I was sorry publicly and in a private PM. My issue is the freakin banning. You want to tell me I'm out of line, tell me I'm childish, or you're going to kick my ass then that's fine, but to ban someone over freaking words is pretty chicken shit in my book. Pretty freaking lame to deny someones participation over words. I just think the banning threats are a little lame. Just as lame as my ass kicking post. Especially when the admins post some pretty foul crap. You're exactly right, I don't have to be here, it's not public, some great guy has allowed my to be here. but I did enjoy it. But whats the point if you can't say what you want?

And I don't talk of Army service to impress anyone, I guess it just makes me a little sensitive to things like censorship.

So this thread was about RATT I think....

Anyway last night I went to see Stephen Pearcy. He sounded pretty damn good, the band blasted through one RATT hit after another for about 90 minutes or so. The guitarists did an admirable job of covering the parts. They definitely were not Warren quality, but solid players.

I was hanging with my radio station buddies so after the show we got to meet Stephen. WOW, super nice guy. We hung out in their dressing room for probably half and hour talking about other bands, the old days, etc. He took pics with all of us, signed some shit, and was just a really cool cat.

Now if I can just meet Warren next time he's in town....

Dude, do you have trouble with reading comprehension or what? I wasn't talking about the freaking rules. I know I broke the rules. I'm talking about the FACT that the only way the admins (YOU) want to deal with infractions of the rules is to run around banning people. Now disscussing something that you don't like is whinning? It's just whinning because you're an admin and it's in opposition to your opinion. And because I won't back down, I'll get banned for arguing with an admin. Whatever. Just make sure you post again stating I broke the rules. I don't think I got that the first 5 times.

Speech is free as long as you keep it within the confines of the rules, and the rules aren't exactly Draconian here... At least it keeps it somewhat civil - see the ESP board for what can happen...

I've severely reduced my involvement on this board and with this community specifically because of attitudes like you are giving me. It doesn't hurt me to pull the plug on you because "You won't back down" then I'll go back to lurking again per my usual routine. Then you can be one of the people on the other boards whining that an admin picked on you.

This thread is why I don't come here as often as I used to. The post between the admins and budgolf should be handled by pm. This shit should not be out on the board for all to see. It creates division. Those of the lynchmob who want to see a banning and those who feel the admins are a little heavy handed.

I see since I started this post the shit has gotten even deeper. This isn't the JCF I joined years ago. That place was cool and INFORMATIVE.

I don't condone what budgolf did, but he has a point about Joe throuwing out asshole to cyber savior , the chillthe fuck out or get banned to budgolf. Not the best way to conduct yourself as an admin.

Why? If other board members go off on someone, it's fine, but if an admin does it, it's somehow different? You really haven't been to many other internet forums, have you? There's plenty of other forums out there with much more harsh rules than here. I'll give you a dollar so you can buy a clue.
