I'm English - although various viking/roman, etc invasions over the years may have diluted the bloodstock a bit & my name is Anglo-Saxon origin rather than just Anglo, but - Jag-yew-are. Anything else is just, well, wrong.
Yes Ford still owns them and yes... most look like dressed up Taurus'.
Not proper Jags, only the abortion that is an X-type. <spit>
I love 'em, I have an old white Series 2 for sunny Sunday afternoons, and an XJ8 for day-to-day. It's like having your balls caressed by an 18yr old nympho.
And it's pronounced Jag-you-ar.
Or Shag-you-ar.
So I woke up,rolled over and who was lying next to me? Only Bonnie Langford!
I've never cared for them but last year my dad scored a 96 XJS convertable with 140K on it with a rebuilt motor from the original owner with all the Jag trunk candy for $6000, he kept it for 6 months and made $5k
So Fett look for Jags at yard sales this weekend lol
I've fallen, Fallen through. If I'm Not With you, All I wanna Do Is Feel blue
It is 'Porshuh', because it is named for a man (Ferdinand Porsche) and his name was/is pronounced the German (Austrian) way. I hate it when I hear it pronounced with just one syllable.
There's a jaguar dealer up the road from me would you like me to ask them?
jag-yoo-ah is how i say it, probably cause i live in the Midlands...the same as the Welsh guy says depends on the accent.
