I read like just an hour ago that one had died. And, now it is over 20!

I went to high school in Gate City, Va. and Blacksburg is only a couple of hours away, so alot of kids from my hometown end up going there. The likelyhood that someone I know personally will be affected by this is quite good.

Yeah, but then once is too often. Why does it always seem to be universities?
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

My son graduated from Radford Univ., which is right across the river from VT. A tragedy for VT. I'm hearing upward of 29 now.

crazy stuff, my close friends live a couple blockx from Columbine HS in CO. and 2 of their kids were in class when the shootings happened there, unfortunatly that incident seems to have planted a seed for this type of tragedy
I say the boy ain't right!

Apparently the shooter was trying to get his girlfriend, which they are saying he did. My Mom just called and has talked to relatives of the 2 kids we know that are currently going there, and they're OK thank God. Fox news is saying 32 dead and 21 injured. Reports say alot of the injured were hurt jumping out of windows.

I have watched this on the UK news since I came home from work. This is an absolute tragedy, once again. I'm sure the thoughts of all forum members are with any of the guys & girls here who may have family or friends at the University.

A friend of mine who moved down there told me about it, happened right in the area of her dorm-room, it's a scary situation, just a week before this there was a shootout in NJ. A bunch of bank robbers were going to rob a bank (the one my sister works at), but the FBI intercepted them got into a shootout and an FBI agent was killed. Unbelievable that all this stuff is happening..
